Afrirampo Podcast Interview

I have seen Afrirampo live twice, and both times they were amazing. The podcast was done backstage at The Loft in Tokyo. It went well although we had some difficulty with language. When the convesation got confusing, neither one of us understood our second language well enough to figure out how to express ourselves, but it worked out. I left some of the Japanese conversation in the interview because if you understand Japanese, it could be fun. In the beginning of this podcast I quoted Luigi Russolo’s Art of Noise written in 1913. He was a futurist painter that I beleive, predicted noise rock of today, especially that which is coming out of Japan.

You don’t know Visual K bands?? actually most of them are pretty lame so you are not missing out on much.

It is interesting for me to listen to the musicians talk about their own music. Good work.

One suggestion, as a listener, I would prefer to here fade ins and fade outs when it comes to the music segments. The changes are too abrupt without them.

Thanks for the commentary guys! Yeah, I know I should know visual k but hey, I do now. Aaron, about your comment, I appriciate it but I feel that the songs should begin as the artist intended them and that to alter them in anyway would be unfair to the band. Mitz, definately go see them it is worth it!
